iYoga

Lately, I've been thinking and feeling and wondering about a lot of things.  I've finished up nursing school, I'm taking boards in a little over a week, and I'm trying to stay balanced.  The past two months I've been doing yoga more often than ever and I honestly feel a difference in my anxiety level, fitness level and happiness level.  I feel that yoga has a way of bringing a certain vibration into life that no other exercise can.  For several years i've been in love with jogging and thought it was my calming thing, that I needed to do to stay sane and keep fit.  Well, lately I've felt this love for yoga and I want to share it on my blog.  Yoga is a way of connecting to our inner-selves.  It allows us to train our bodies using mostly our mind, and then also our muscles to accomplish what our mind sets out.  Noticing the position of my limbs, the strain in certain muscles or ligaments, the rotation and position of joints - I've started doing all of that noticing and it has made me more attentive to myself.  I want to forever be someone who feels the twinge of tightness in my back, or the furrow in my brow and consciously tries to correct and soften that tension.  Relaxation, happiness and joy can come from within once we tap in to finding them inside of our souls, and I also believe through God and worship.  I love yoga and how it helps me see the world and myself a bit differently…
