When I read this text, I think about the moments where I'm sitting on a beach and watching a glorious sunset. Or, on a perfect warm day as I lay in soft grass looking up and assessing the silly shapes of clouds.
No worries, no cares, just comfort. I think God puts those moments in my life to remind me that I can truly rest in His arms. He does care. He didn't promise that everything would be perfect or that life would have no discomfort. But, He promises that where we are is where we need to be.
I want to appreciate this life and soak in the best with my senses. Because, although I do believe that this life could go on forever and that Jesus will take us HOME one day, I also believe that we can't get moments back. We have to lose the fear and feel perfectly loved. I belong in this world and I'm going to live like I do.
